What PremiseBay is
A place to see the recurring inspections a building owes, book independent licensed pros to do them, and keep the records. Pros are independent businesses, not our employees. They are responsible for their work, their licences and their filings with the authorities.
Rules and dates
We show the rules we have read and link their sources, but we are not your fire marshal, water utility or insurer, and nothing on PremiseBay is legal advice. You remain responsible for your building's compliance. If an authority tells you something different, follow the authority.
Bookings and payment
A booking is an agreement between you and the pro at the price the pro lists. When a pro takes payment through PremiseBay, your saved card is charged after the pro marks the job done and uploads the certificate or report. PremiseBay keeps 10% of that payment as its fee and Stripe pays the rest to the pro. Disputes about the work go first to the pro; email us and we will help.
For pros
You must hold every licence and registration the work needs, keep insurance in force, list prices you will honour, and file reports with authorities where the rule requires it. We may suspend a listing whose licence or insurance lapses or that customers report for not turning up.
Plans
The free plan covers one building. Pro is billed per building, monthly or yearly, and can be cancelled at any time from Settings.
